Business Planning Manager to lead the coordination between Sales, Demand, and Supply Planning teams, ensuring effective execution of planning routines, visibility of performance indicators, and support in key decision-making processes.
This role plays a pivotal part in aligning operational planning with commercial goals, helping drive growth, efficiency, and service levels across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and facilitate the monthly planning process across commercial, demand, and supply functions.
- Consolidate and validate forecasts and commercial estimates from various segments or business units.
- Support the identification and resolution of gaps between sales forecasts and financial targets.
- Lead planning alignment and sign-off meetings with local leadership.
- Provide visibility and coordination in case of supply constraints, helping prioritize actions to minimize business impact.
- Work with commercial and supply teams to reduce excess and obsolete inventory through action planning.
- Ensure timely and accurate updates from cross-functional teams to support the planning process.
- Collaborate closely with demand and supply planning, customer service, and sales operations to track and report planning KPIs.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of the planning process and tools.
Profile Requirements
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain or related field.Advanced degree (MBA or similar) is a plus.5+ years of experience in demand planning, supply chain planning, or S&OP-related roles.Experience in multicultural, matrix organizations is highly valued.Familiarity with planning processes, forecasting, inventory management, and cross-functional collaboration.Technical Skills
Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.Comfortable working with ERP or planning systems (experience with any tool is acceptable).Core Competencies
