With 32+ years of expertise and 1500+ successful projects delivered, CMA provides state-of-the-art systems including RTGS, ACH, CSD, National Payment Gateways, and Trading / Settlement platforms.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Director to lead CMA’s business development and client management efforts in Latin America. This role requires a proactive hunter with strong C-level relationships in the financial sector and the ability to grow our footprint across the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and close new business opportunities with Central banks and major Financial institutions
  • Be able to travel frequently on business trips
  • Maintain and expand long-term relationships with existing clients
  • Act as a trusted partner to clients, supporting them through implementation and beyond
  • Monitor market trends and competitive landscape, advising senior management on strategy
  • Lead RFP processes, prepare proposals and presentations
  • Represent CMA at key events and industry forums in LATAM
  • Drive partnerships and alliances with regional stakeholders

Desired Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in technology sales / business development (financial software)
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in LATAM
  • Strong existing network in banking and regulatory institutions
  • Knowledge of payment systems (RTGS, ACH, CSD, Instant Payments)
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time across Latin America
  • Fluent in Spanish and English (B2+ / C1)
  • Bachelor’s degree required; technical / finance background preferred
