Business Development Manager
Responsible for the ALS Geochemistry Business Development area in Chile and Argentina. Opening new businesses and clients, working together with the Country Manager and Regional Management, to ensure the sustainability and growth of the business.
Reporting directly to the Country Manager of Chile - Argentina and, functionally, to the Regional Business Development Manager.
Location : Colina, Santiago.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic business plans in line with corporate strategic objectives.
- Evaluate and research the market, through market share measurements and competitor analysis.
- Schedule visits to current and new clients, and elaborate commercial and economic proposals based on the company's commercial strategic plan.
- Promote the organization's brand in events such as tradeshows, workshops, etc.
- Prepare forecasts, presentations and management reports to help the company make informed decisions in a timely manner.
- Ensure the correct synergy between the Project, Operations and Customer Service areas internally.
Qualifications
Degree in Chemistry, Geologist, Industrial Civil Engineer or related.Minimum experience of 5 years in similar positions, ideally in multinational companies.English language proficiency at an advanced level (written and conversational).Availability to travel.Self-energy, self-direction and initiative.Strategic thinking and business vision.Assertive communication and negotiation skills.Emotional intelligence, flexibility and adaptability.Problem solving and organizational skills.Seniority level
