Multinational industry leader is looking for an HR Operations Specialist focused on execute and coordinate key Human Resources processes across Latin American countries, ensuring local legal compliance, consistency with corporate practices, and proper administration throughout the employee lifecycle. This role is essential for delivering efficient and reliable operations aligned with the organization's global standards in a multicultural and matrixed environment.
Key Responsibilities
In order of relative importance
- Compensation and Benefits : Gather payroll inputs for timely submission to the Global Payroll team, ensuring accurate monthly processing. Validate critical payroll data (bonuses, leaves, vacations, absences) with a focus on consistency, accuracy, and legal compliance. Oversee the implementation and control of regional corporate benefits.
- Coordinate and implement integration of HR processes due M&A
- Personnel Administration and Hiring : Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for employees across different countries, including contracts, legal documentation, and onboarding in coordination with local teams and external providers. Maintain up-to-date employee databases and personnel files in compliance with local regulations and global policies.
- Perform site operation administration including, but not limited to, handling colleague questions on policy and procedures, collecting equipment and managing vouchers, LOA management and temporary labor pools.
- Multi-Country Labor Compliance : Ensure compliance with local labor laws in every country under the position’s scope (Chile, Peru, Mexico, Brazil, or others), aligning practices with global policies. Support in internal and external audits, labor inspections, and legal requirements. Keep the team updated on regulatory changes and relevant labor risks in the region.
What the Job Requires
Professional degree in HR, Business Administration, Law, Psychology, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years’ experience in generalist HR roles within multinational or regionally-operating companies, exposed to payroll and people operation processes.Proficiency in Excel and strong analytical skills.Knowledge of labor laws in at least two Latin American countries.Experience working in matrixed and multicultural environments.Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written) and Portuguese is highly desirable.Experience with HRIS and ATS systemsWhy Work Here
