About the Role :

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Health & Safety Manager for a temporary assignment within the Ferrero Hazelnut Company Chile. In this role, you will oversee all Health & Safety (H&S) activities across our operations - including farms, production plants, warehouses, and central offices - ensuring compliance with Group standards and local regulations. You will lead a team of six H&S Specialists located across various sites and serve as the primary liaison between the local organization and the Group H&S function.

Main Tasks :

• Define and lead H&S objectives at Country level in accordance with Group guidelines and key stakeholders.
• Design, implement, and maintain local H&S policies, procedures, programs, and initiatives in line with Group standards and long-term goals.
• Ensure systematic identification, assessment, and mitigation of health and safety risks across all operational sites
• Monitor compliance with safety standards and procedures, and oversee the execution of corrective actions resulting from audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
• Lead investigations of H&S incidents in accordance with Group protocols, ensuring root cause analysis and implementation of preventive measures.
• Foster a culture of safety by continuously promoting H&S awareness across all levels of the organization.
• Lead, coach, and develop the team of H&S Specialists, ensuring capability building and performance excellence.
• Support and coach local Leadership Team members in fulfilling their Health and Safety accountabilities and responsibilities.
• Contribute H&S expertise to major local projects, including equipment design and installation, site layout modifications, new construction, and facility design.
