We are looking for the / a Regional IT Manager based in Santiago, Chile.

Job Summary

As Regional IT Manager , you will join our IT Global team. You will report to Cloud Enterprise Manager and will have the opportunity to lead IT operations across the LATAM region, supporting ContourGlobal’s plants and driving IT standardization, integration, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Working directly with end-users and managers to provide advanced hardware, software, network, and applications problem resolution.
• Identifying areas for improvement in the technology landscape, proposing solutions, and implementing projects to complete them.
• Being responsible for ContourGlobal plants, including IT support for existing sites and integration of new sites as required during IT M&A (Mergers and Acquisitions) and Divestment of assets.
• Acting as an important contributor in standardizing and improving our overall global technology platform, and interfacing with the global IT team to accomplish this.
• Managing, mentoring, and leading on-site IT personnel within LATAM (IT Managers, Specialists, Engineers), coordinating team objectives and activities.
• Preparing and managing Local and Regional IT budgets.
• Supporting end-users with hardware / software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting (Tier II support : networks, Windows OS, MS Office, Skype for Business).
• Analyzing and resolving LAN / WAN hardware and software issues; assisting with global infrastructure, including VPN communication and data routing.
• Utilizing the IT ticketing system to manage and document support tickets, preparing activity and progress reports.
• Installing, configuring, and upgrading operating systems and software; adapting applications for operational departments.
• Tracking and updating IT asset movements (laptops, desktops, printers, etc.).
• Maintaining and contributing to Desktop Support SOPs and training manuals.
• Supporting and troubleshooting video conference systems.
• Planning, designing, researching, and acquiring new or upgraded hardware and software solutions.
• Coordinating procurement and distribution of IT equipment and applications across all managed sites.
