SCADA & Industrial Communications Specialist

Overview

SCADA & Industrial Communications Specialist role at Sonnedix. Based in Santiago, Chile; you’ll shape the digital backbone of our operations, ensuring reliable, secure, and compliant performance of plant SCADA systems and communication networks. Working at the intersection of automation, industrial networking, and protection systems, you’ll help connect the data that powers our renewable generation—from field devices to the central control room—ensuring high availability, safety, and continuous improvement across assets. Regular fieldwork will involve collaborating with Operations, Asset Management, and Engineering to optimize SCADA systems, support protection logic deployments, and lead commissioning activities (FAT / SAT).

Responsibilities

• Optimize SCADA systems and industrial networks across assets.
• Support protection logic deployments and commissioning activities (FAT / SAT).
• Lead field commissioning, troubleshooting across software–hardware hybrids.
