Charge Nurse - Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory

The post holder will have responsibility for assessment of care needs and evaluation of programmes of care ensuring the delivery of high quality care to patients. In the absence of the Senior Charge Nurse / Team Leader, the post holder will have continuing responsibility for the management and clinical leadership of the area, including supervision, development, and deployment of staff.

Please note : duties may vary with the type of ward / department and the degree of patient dependency.

Responsibilities and Requirements

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level, with post-graduate expertise within their specialty or area of practice. They will have comprehensive knowledge of clinical guidelines and standards within their specialty, as well as specialist knowledge and experience of relevant conditions, pathology, policies, and procedures.

Contract Details

This is a permanent, full-time position, with 37 hours per week, based in the Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory within University Hospital Hairmyres.
