Desktop Support Engineer L1
Iron Systems, Inc. (Las Condes, Santiago Metropolitan Region, Chile) seeks an entry‑level Desktop Support Engineer L1 to install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, peripheral equipment, and associated software.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers and peripheral equipment within established standards and guidelines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.
- Perform IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) services for IT assets, including mobile phones, scanners, printers, and other non‑PC equipment.
- Provide VIP support with high‑touch service and manage audio‑visual, conferencing, and related technologies.
- Support Office 365 and compliance software installation and troubleshooting.
- Install and share network services and printers.
- Apply knowledge of DHCP and DNS.
- Maintain IT inventory, coordinate vendor support, and assist with procurement.
- Strictly adhere to defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Support recurring meetings, events, and after‑hours activities as required.
- Document incidents, problems, and resolutions for the knowledge base.
Preferred Skills (Good To Have)
L1 level network troubleshooting for LAN connectivity.Backend support for network, server, and application issues.Coordinate vendor support and resolve technical issues.Label racks and devices.Mount, move, and support servers.Support physical servers, networking devices, and storage (reboot, console access, cable / SFP management, racking, and stacking).Additional Notes
Engineers are expected to bring their own protective eyewear and composite‑toed shoes. All remaining safety gear will be provided onsite.Employment Information
