Overview
Locum Specialist Doctor in Palliative Medicine to join the Fife Specialist Palliative Care team for a 6-month fixed-term to cover maternity leave. The post would initially be based within the Hospice in-patient unit with potential for experience in community and acute hospital settings.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialist palliative care to in-patients in the hospice and contribute to the multidisciplinary team.
- Collaborate with a medical team that includes 5 Consultants, 1 Associate Specialist and 4 other SAS doctors.
- Support the continuing development of the Fife Specialist Palliative Care Service.
Qualifications
Full GMC Registration and a license to practise.Eligible for inclusion in the GMC Specialist Register. UK-trained applicants should have evidence of higher specialist training leading to CCT or be within 6 months of confirmed entry from the date of interview.Portfolio Pathway (formerly CESR) eligibility is restricted to applying for substantive consultant posts once awarded.Non-UK applicants must demonstrate equivalent training and eligibility to practise as a specialist in the UK.Other requirements
