About This Job
The HR Business Partner is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and leadership for their assigned business units. A successful HR Business Partner will act as a change agent and be able to anticipate HR-related needs within their groups. This individual will seek to develop integrated solutions and formulate meaningful partnerships with their assigned groups, delivering direct value to our business objectives.

Essential Job Functions
- Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to leadership, including but not limited to coaching, counseling, career development and disciplinary actions
- Provide advice, assistance, and training on company policies, procedures, and practices
- Act as a positive change agent supporting both managers and employees as the company experiences growth and transformation
- Exemplify our company values and set the standard for professionalism
- Lead the investigation and resolution of employee relations issues, anticipate problems whenever possible, and develop, recommend, and initiate appropriate steps for resolution
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements and regulations applicable to assigned business units or geographic locations
- Identify training needs for business units and collaborate with the training team on execution
- Build strong partnerships with hiring managers to determine recruitment needs and facilitate recruiting strategy and attract top talent
- Manage the full recruitment cycle including sourcing strategies, interview processes, offer negotiations for assigned requisitions
- Provide administrative support to benefits and payroll needs for assigned business groups
- Collaborate with other members of the Human Resources team on best practices, business strategies and be willing to jump in and assist when support is needed

Skills + Qualifications
3 years of experience working in HR at a similar levelAbility to facilitate and maintain positive relationships with cross-functional teams as well as leadershipCapable of building and maintaining an effective and regular system of communication with a diverse and distributed workforceWorking experience resolving complex employee relations issuesWorking knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational development, performance management, and recruitingKnowledge of federal and multi-state specific employment lawsProficiency and comfort with various technologies including Google Apps for Work, Slack, and other similar toolsExperience with web based HRIS and Performance Management systemsMust be extremely customer-focused with strong communication skills through multiple channels (verbal, written, email, chat, etc.)Strong organizational, time management, and process management skills necessary to maintain high volume workloadAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with high performance standardsAbility to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriatelyAbility to operate effectively in an ambiguous environment and embrace changes as they ariseComfortable talking to people—online or in person—and being able to share information in a way that’s clear, thoughtful, and easy to understandAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionWorkplace Environment + Expectations
