About This Job

The HR Business Partner is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and leadership for their assigned business units. A successful HR Business Partner will act as a change agent and be able to anticipate HR-related needs within their groups. This individual will seek to develop integrated solutions and formulate meaningful partnerships with their assigned groups, delivering direct value to our business objectives.

This is a temporary position only covering a maternity leave.

Essential Job Functions

• Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to leadership, including but not limited to coaching, counseling, career development and disciplinary actions
• Provide advice, assistance, and training on company policies, procedures, and practices
• Act as a positive change agent supporting both managers and employees as the company experiences growth and transformation
• Exemplify our company values and set the standard for professionalism
• Lead the investigation and resolution of employee relations issues, anticipate problems whenever possible, and develop, recommend, and initiate appropriate steps for resolution
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements and regulations applicable to assigned business units or geographic locations
• Identify training needs for business units and collaborate with the training team on execution
• Build strong partnerships with hiring managers to determine recruitment needs and facilitate recruiting strategy and attract top talent
• Manage the full recruitment cycle including sourcing strategies, interview processes, offer negotiations for assigned requisitions
• Provide administrative support to benefits and payroll needs for assigned business groups
• Collaborate with other members of the Human Resources team on best practices, business strategies and be willing to jump in and assist when support is needed
• Other duties, as assigned
