Lead Software Engineer - Backend (PHP)

Overview
We are looking for an innovative and driven Lead Software Engineer - Backend to join Feedonomics' fully remote Engineering team.
You will work closely with skilled engineers to design, implement, and optimize mission-critical infrastructure and services for our data-intensive SaaS platform.
Responsibilities
- Build scalable and highly reliable applications and services to support business objectives
- Solve infrastructure challenges with code and deliver effective post-release application support
- Drive improvements in DevOps practices and CI / CD pipelines for streamlined development and deployment
- Collaborate with product owners and engineering leaders to define architecture options and deliver solutions
- Analyze system failures and contribute to actionable insights that reduce recurrence
- Champion initiatives for systems and infrastructure optimization
- Identify and recommend tools, processes, and technologies to address business challenges
- Leverage industry expertise to elevate engineering standards and processes
