Job Objective

Plan the plant’s supply, providing optimal delivery timelines while maintaining balanced inventory levels and delivering timely responses to the sales area.

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide the planning team (materials planners) and production scheduling team in a manufacturing plant.
• Contribute to the creation of a strategic roadmap and be accountable for its execution.
• Optimize planning processes to support delivery, production, and financial objectives (inventory).
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to solve problems quickly and implement improvements.
• Provide direction, delegate tasks, and remove obstacles to achieve goals.
• Ensure adequate coverage of the department and backup in case of absences.
• Conduct onboarding and cross‑training for team members.
• Support other plants or planning teams as needed.
• Foster a collaborative work environment.
• Carry out root‑cause analysis on supply issues and implement continuous‑improvement projects.
