This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of Darwoft. We are currently looking for a Data Platform Engineer (DataIku, Collibra, QuickSight) in Latin America. We are seeking a skilled Data Platform Engineer to ensure the stability, scalability, and adoption of core data platforms across the organization. In this role, you will manage, optimize, and maintain tools such as DataIku, Collibra, QuickSight, and other BI platforms, enabling teams to work efficiently and securely on mission-critical data. You will collaborate with cross-functional squads, including Data & AI Platform, Analytics Engineering, and Data Science, to enhance performance, governance, and usability. This role combines technical operations with an internal product mindset, offering a unique opportunity to impact the data-driven decision-making process across the business. Remote-first work is supported, with occasional in-person interactions for those based in key locations.

Accountabilities

• Administer and maintain data platforms such as DataIku, Collibra, QuickSight, and Amazon Q, including user access, performance monitoring, and system upgrades
• Provide functional support, handle incidents, coordinate maintenance, and monitor operational alerts
• Ensure data governance, traceability, security, and compliance across platforms
• Identify opportunities to improve performance, usability, and scalability, proposing and implementing optimizations
• Drive adoption of tools by collaborating with data, product, and business teams
• Maintain up-to-date technical documentation, including usage guides, operational processes, and governance standards
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to maximize the impact and value of data platforms
