Responsibilities

The Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) is part of AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS). It is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from small and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. Build and execute go-to-market plans that turn AWS ideas into multi-billion-dollar businesses. WWSO teams include business development, specialist and technical solutions architecture. As part of WWSO, provide expertise across the entire life cycle of an AWS customer initiative, from developing ideas for new services to accelerating the adoption of established businesses. Collaborate across AWS as #OneTeam.

A day in the life

Within WWSO, this position is part of the Geo Specialist team, where you will lead technical strategy for AWS databases for LATAM customers. Create sales plays, leverage partners, and build initiatives that drive results. Provide critical feedback from customers to inform product roadmap and work with partner networks to build an ecosystem supporting customers’ goals. In emerging areas, play a critical role as the “first in” team to build markets for new services, domains, or solutions.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 8+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
• Knowledge of cloud architecture
