Job Description : Finning, a strategic partner of CATERPILLAR, is seeking a talented Applications Analyst to support our South America operations. Reporting to the Enterprise Technical Application Manager, you will ensure that financial application systems meet organizational needs. Responsibilities include designing, developing, implementing application updates, and analyzing, diagnosing, and resolving application issues.

The ideal candidate has at least 5+ years of experience with applications and systems, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal stakeholders. Preference is given to those with knowledge of Autostore, Azurian, Goplicity, and other supply chain applications. You should be motivated, self-driven, customer-oriented, and thrive in fast-paced environments.

Job Functions :

• Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Analyze software problems, data issues, and workflows, recommending solutions.
• Collaborate across all SDLC phases, focusing on operational support planning.
• Interpret data to support operational decisions.
• Maintain detailed support documentation.
• Provide status reports and escalate issues when necessary.
• Ensure professional, timely, and accurate information presentation.
• Comply with Finning’s Change Management policies.
• Ensure understanding of specifications and support documentation.
• Communicate and mitigate risks identified during incident and problem management.
• Represent the company professionally, maintaining confidentiality.
• Lead application sustainment efforts.
• Stay informed on technology best practices and seek innovation opportunities.
