Could you be the VIE - Trackwork Method Engineer we're looking for ?
Main Responsibilities
- Implement of equipment, tooling, instruction and documentation to ensure the performance of the Appitrack work front in the optimum conditions : cost, quality and health and safety.
- Ensure that Detailed Designs are constructible, defining kinematics, tooling, installation procedures and Quality Control system.
- Participate in construction team meetings and report - on a weekly or monthly basis - on progress and key Quality, Cost and Delivery (QCD) indicators.
- Assess needs in terms of access, equipment, tools and staff skills.
- Lead the 4M review and present to the Site Manager and Project Manager (PM) the decision.
- Ensure that the construction form is defined and adhered to.
- Ensure as-built data is up to date.
- Manage the preparation of the layout, defining the construction and test plan, validating and optimising the construction method and ensuring that the track will meet legal and contractual requirements.
- Make continuous improvements to the construction work front.
- Perform kinematic and cycle analysis for tunnel activities.
- Use the construction work method, including the Quality Control Inspection Form template, to be submitted and approved by the client
- Submit the Construction Requirements Matrix or list of requirements.
- Comply with work procedures.
