Job Description

As a Senior Software Engineer on Strider’s Data Collection Team, your job is to leverage Python to build, automate, and scale data collection efforts. You will contribute to our industry‑leading web scraping platform and the internal tools that touch it. You will also provide leadership and guidance to establish best practices for engineering teams.

What You Will Do

• Using Python and other modern programming languages, build and enhance data collection pipelines.
• Using JavaScript and Python, build internal tools and dashboards to allow users to interact with data collection pipelines.
• Participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with a talented team of engineers, data scientists, product managers, and subject‑matter experts.
• Translate requirements, specifications, and technical design documents into secure applications and / or services.
• Develop and maintain software using already established best practices for creating readable and maintainable code.
