The Patient Centered Solutions (PCS) team leads in generating data to ensure that the patient voice is incorporated into development and commercialization. The research includes qualitative and quantitative methods and passive approaches to understand patient, caregiver and healthcare professional experiences and expectations of disease and treatment. The PCS team recruits, trains and supports driven individuals with consulting and life science skills applied to PCS research activities, offering opportunities to address challenging client issues across geographies in a collaborative environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Administer assessments to participants in a clinical trial, or evaluate the quality of assessments performed by others and provide feedback on interview technique and scoring.
- Review scales administered by raters to ensure standardized data collection and reliability.
- Evaluate the quality of assessments, conduct live interactions with raters to discuss methodology and scoring, and provide guidance as necessary.
- Prepare case data for discussions with raters, including relevant issues, scale items, and necessary documents.
- Complete rater interactions and assigned tasks as scheduled and ensure timely submission of documentation.
- Participate in orientation, training and calibration activities as required.
- Assess rater performance through functional assessments (e.g., mock interviews) and assist in preparing and disseminating communications.
- Contact clinical trial participants remotely (e.g., via proprietary app) to administer assessments and document notes and scores.
What do you need to apply?
Minimum of a Master’s degree (MA / MS) in Psychology, Counseling, Psychiatric, Nursing or Social Work, or equivalent.Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience working with CNS trials preferred. Experience administering psychiatric assessments, ratings scales and / or structured clinical interviews is a plus.Ideally, prior experience in Alzheimer\'s disease, Parkinson\'s disease, depression, schizophrenia, anxiety.Advanced level of English.Home based position in Latin America.
