You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of mission-critical applications across web, mobile, and API platforms. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to identify issues, design comprehensive test plans, and safeguard the user experience. This role thrives in a fast-paced environment and requires sharp problem-solving skills with a proven track record in diagnosing and preventing issues in complex systems.ResponsibilitiesValidate financial data functionality, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and system integrityDiagnose application issues by analyzing application logs, reviewing server stats, and system behaviorCollaborate with developers and DevOps to triage and resolve defectsWrite clear, detailed bug reports with supporting artifacts to enable quick resolutionTest backend integrations, ensuring data accuracy across PostgreSQL, Informix, MySQL, and related databasesEnsure test coverage in continuous integration environmentsMaintain strong documentation of test cases, results, and defect trendsContribute to quality best practices across the SDLC and mentor others on QA standardsRequirements5+ years of experience in QA, with exposure across web, mobile, and API testingDeep understanding of data / event-driven systems and strong coding abilityHands-on experience in financial systems and / or market data environmentsStrong knowledge of XPath, CSS selectors, HTML, XML, and JSONProficiency in SQL and 2–3 years of experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, Informix, MySQL)Ability to analyze system logs, identify bottlenecks, and proactively flag performance or stability issuesExperience in a CI / CD environment and familiarity with version control tools (Git)Solid understanding of QA methodologies, testing practices, and SDLCStrong Linux knowledge and comfort with command line debuggingExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and explain complex issues clearlyJob is 100% remote; please ensure you have a comfortable home office at your chosen work location.DetailsSeniority level : Mid-Senior levelEmployment type : Full-timeJob function : Engineering and Information TechnologyIndustries : IT Services and IT Consulting #J-
