Spanish Interpreter (Ñuñoa)

We are seeking Remote Contract Spanish Interpreters who are passionate about helping people. Contract Responsibilities Provide consecutive, first-person interpretation. Follow interpreter protocols and procedures required by Propio L.S. clients. Follow all Propio L.S. policies and procedures related to information confidentiality and interpreter ethics. Continuously improve vocabulary and specialized subject-matter knowledge for clients such as medical, legal, and social services. Requirements Updated resume in English submitted at time of application. English language proficiency with a technical proficiency rating of "3" or higher on the ILR scale. Successful completion of a mock oral interpretation session (passing score on 24 quality standards). Passing score on Propio's online Medical Terminology, Anatomy and Physiology Assessment. Full background check and security screen completed. Signed commitment to confidentiality, adherence to ethics, and HIPAA compliance. Preferred Qualifications One or more years of interpreting experience.
