Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to client requests and maintain clear communication
  • Work collaboratively with team members and exchange expertise
  • Develop clean, efficient, compatible, and testable code
  • Maintain and enhance documentation both within the codebase and externally
  • Provide mentorship and engage in knowledge sharing with engineers, leading technical discussions
  • Lead the creation, ownership, and review of technical design documents and proofs of concept
  • Interpret business needs and cooperate closely with stakeholders
  • Make informed engineering and product decisions using data analysis
  • Continuously enhance engineering standards and workflows
  • Adopt an agile, iterative, and inquisitive approach to problem-solving
  • Act as a subject matter expert within your team and across the organization
  • Participate in production support rotations and lead investigations and resolutions of incidents

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years experience in Go Language development
  • Proficient in Python programming
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases
  • Deep understanding of HTTP request and response lifecycle
  • Experience designing and implementing microservices from scratch
  • Skilled in leading and contributing to architectural discussions
  • Ability to provide production support, incident debugging, and resolution
  • Capable of working independently with clients without supervision
  • Upper-Intermediate English proficiency (B2+) or higher

    • Nice to have

  • Familiarity with gRPC and Protocol Buffers
  • Experience with GraphQL development
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes
  • Ability to create debugging, tracing, and dashboards using DataDog
  • Working knowledge of PostgreSQL and Amazon Redshift databases
