Who are we looking for?

Our Environmental business in  Santiago  is looking for or  Chemist, Biologist, Natural Resources or Applied Science professional to join their team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the future of our Contamination Assessment & Remediation service line through the coordination and implementation of a wide range of environmental solutions and projects. This role will be based in  Santiago, Santiago Metropolitan Region, Chile.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

The new employee will be responsible for the following key duties and responsibilities :

  • Quality Assurance Project Plan (QAPP) preparation
  • Adherence to the quality systems outlines in the QAPP
  • Performing validation of analytical data results
  • Monitor current laboratory certifications
  • Assistance with preparing GHD required laboratory scoping documents
  • Technical assistance provided to project team and / or laboratory
  • Proactively update your manager on work progress, improvement opportunities, potential issues and other relevant info
  • Develop and maintain collaborative and positive relationships with your team and other IS teams

Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Natural Resources or Applied Science.
  • 1 to 2 years’ environmental laboratory experience preferably in analytical bench chemistry
  • Experience in large and / or global professional services organization.
  • Experience working in large and / or global professional services organization.
  • Experience in managing multiple enterprise wide projects
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English is required.
