Python Developer – Automation & Infrastructure

Overview

You are someone who enjoys solving operational inefficiencies through automation. You’re looking for a role where you can directly impact IT processes, reduce manual workload, and improve system reliability. You are passionate about scripting, infrastructure, and network automation, and you want to grow by working on real-world automation projects that bring measurable results.

You Bring to Applaudo the Following Competencies :

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in backend development and scripting using Python.
• Strong experience designing and building automation scripts to manage infrastructure and network environments.
• Proficiency in PowerShell (nice to have).
• Familiarity with Windows systems administration (client and server).
• Understanding of enterprise network technologies, including Cisco, Fortinet, and similar platforms.
• Experience integrating with systems such as Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365, Azure, and SCCM.
• Knowledge of routers, firewalls, switches, and Point-of-Sale (POS) systems.
• Understanding of API integrations and ability to interact with third-party services programmatically.
• Experience working with manual and scheduled executions (e.g., cron jobs, event triggers).
• Strong documentation, training, and support skills to assist internal teams.
• Excellent debugging and problem-solving abilities.
• English is a requirement, as you will be working directly with US-based clients.
