Overview

HSE Supervisor role at Sonnedix in Chile. The role reports to the H&S Manager – Chile and supports health and safety programs across solar, wind, and battery projects under construction and operation, as well as local offices. Ensures compliance with Chilean regulations and Sonnedix standards while fostering a strong safety culture and collaborating with contractors and internal teams. Travel to operational and construction sites across Chile is required.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct site inspections and supervise contractors.
  • Investigate incidents and support reporting, audits, and preventive action plans.
  • Deliver HSE training and promote continuous safety improvement.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and contractors to ensure regulatory and company compliance.

Qualifications

  • Technical or professional degree in Occupational Health & Safety.
  • Experience in HSE within the energy sector (renewables preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of Chilean HSE regulations and compliance frameworks (e.g., DS 44, DS 594, ISO 45001).
  • Proven experience in contractor supervision, HSE audits, documentation processes and IA and reporting platforms.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with a proactive, responsible, and structured approach.
  • Willingness to travel frequently across Chilean sites.
