We are seeking an experienced AI Automation Engineer to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role where you will design, build, and optimize automation solutions using AI technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, be comfortable working with minimal direction, and thrive in fast-changing environments. Experience in the mortgage industry is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive efficiency through automation and AI to streamline workflows.
  • Lead the tactical completion of current automation projects.
  • Design and implement agentic workflows that integrate multiple AI agents across business processes (e.g., loan origination to product assignment).
  • Evaluate and implement configuration-first tools (e.g., n8n, Flowable, Make) to reduce coding dependency and accelerate development.
  • Build reusable automation components and AI agents for multiple workflows (income extraction, product decisions, etc.).
  • Work with AWS Bedrock, Lambda, Step Functions, Python backends, and integrate with APIs (e.g., Blue Sage) and data warehouses (Snowflake).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into scalable automation solutions.
  • Provide technical expertise in AI integration beyond AWS-only options (external LLMs).
  • Ensure automation solutions are efficient, maintainable, and aligned with long-term architecture goals.

Requirements

  • 3–7+ years of experience in automation engineering, intelligent workflows, or AI-driven process design.
  • Strong programming skills in Python .
  • Hands-on experience with AWS (Bedrock, Lambda, Step Functions) .
  • Familiarity with workflow automation tools (n8n, Flowable, Make) and integration frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of APIs and data platforms (Snowflake preferred).
  • Strong problem-solving mindset; ability to work independently and adapt quickly.
  • Experience designing or working with multi-agent AI workflows is highly desirable.
  • Mortgage or financial services industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Availability to work US business hours (EST / CST) .
