Financial Control is responsible for directing the organization's financial control activities, including financial reporting and accounting. Responsibilities include :

• Developing and maintaining planning and budgeting systems, preparing financial and management reports, and presenting findings and recommendations to senior management.
• Analyzing and interpreting trends requiring management's attention.
• Managing projects / processes independently, coaching, and reviewing work of lower-level professionals. Duties may also include training staff.

A Senior Specialist applies advanced knowledge of their field, typically gained through higher education and experience. Responsibilities may include managing projects, working independently, coaching, and handling complex problems.
