With Envision Energy 's Latin American expansion, especially in Chile , robust procurement management is essential to ensure project cost control, timely resource allocation, and supply chain resilience. The Procurement Manager bridges global sourcing best practices with the local context, addresses complex EPC project demands, and builds a sustainable supplier network. This role brings external commercial acumen and technical expertise not widely available in the current local team, especially critical in supporting engineering, R&D, and quality collaboration for new energy equipment and office supplies procurement.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end procurement operations for office, engineering, and EPC project needs in Chile and broader Latin America, ensuring timely delivery optimal cost.
- Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with organizational priorities, budget, and risk assessments.
- Build, evaluate, and maintain a robust supplier pool, conduct due diligence, and expand local and international supplier networks.
- Lead contract negotiations, enforce supplier compliance, and manage performance metrics.
- Collaborate with R&D, quality, and project teams to support new product development sourcing, supplier qualification, and innovation scouting.
- Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements impacting procurement; recommend and implement relevant process improvements.
- Drive cost reduction, quality improvement, and sustainability initiatives in the supply chain.
- Support procurement across different categories including office supplies, IT, facilities, and other general services, in addition to engineering and equipment.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree or above in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.7+ years' procurement experience in industrial, energy, EPC, or large-scale engineering projects, preferably with exposure to Latin America.Demonstrated success in contract negotiation, supplier management, and risk mitigation, especially in overseas contexts.Solid background in collaborating with R&D, quality, and NPI teams for technical procurement.Fluent in English and Spanish.Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills.Willingness to travel if required.High integrity, problem-solving mindset, and adaptability in a multicultural environment.Please, attach your CV in English .
