Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, Quote Engine

Command|Link is a global SaaS Platform providing network, voice services, and IT security solutions, helping corporations consolidate their core infrastructure into a single vendor and layering on a proprietary single pane of glass platform. Command|Link has revolutionized the IT industry by tackling the problems our competitors create.

This is a 100% remote position. We’re seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help drive the next evolution of our 13-year-strong Quote Engine—a mission-critical system powering our quoting and pricing operations.

About Your New Role

You’ll work closely with product and engineering peers to design and deliver production code that scales, focusing on reliability, performance, and maintainability. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on solving tough technical problems and contributing directly to business-critical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain core components of our Quote Engine in production.
Develop scalable, concurrent, and resilient services using modern patterns.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Finance, Vendor Management) to deliver features aligned with business goals.
Implement event-driven and queue-based architectures with a focus on durability and fault tolerance.
Contribute to operational excellence by writing observable, maintainable, and secure systems.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment to ensure high-quality releases.

Must-Have Technical Expertise

5+ years experience designing, building, and maintaining features across backend (PHP, Python, or Go) and frontend (React) with a 50 / 50 focus.

Proven experience building highly scalable, concurrent systems.

Strong knowledge of multithreaded architectures, concurrency primitives, and non-blocking I / O.

Strong knowledge of distributed systems design (CAP trade-offs, consistency models).

Strong knowledge of event-driven architectures and microservices (Kafka, RabbitMQ, NATS, Service Bus).

Strong knowledge of fault tolerance, back-pressure strategies, and circuit breakers.

Familiarity with Azure (preferred) or other cloud platforms, including serverless orchestration.

Solid understanding of authentication / security standards (OAuth 2.0, mTLS, secrets management).
