Category Manager (Comprador a cargo de categorías).

Responsibilities

• Define a strategic category plan and ensure supply continuity.
• Control sales margins, mitigate risks, and pursue savings in purchases.
• Importation experience from Asia, Europe, USA, and regional markets.
• Negotiate with national and international suppliers.
• Develop supplier relationships.
• Control shipment dates and maintain direct logistic contact with suppliers.
• Maintain and negotiate minimum order quantities (MOQ).
• Propose process improvements.
• Generate treasury payment documents (anticipos and balances).
• Knowledge of FCL and LCL purchases, air, sea, and land logistics, and ExFca, FOB, C&F terms.
• Report directly to the area manager.
• Supervise inventory stock levels.
• Commercial scope (non-exclusive) and experience in HORECA channel and products.
• Brand strategy knowledge and promotion implementation across all sales channels.
• Maintain sales prices in line with costs, company policy, and market conditions.
• Provide fluent and virtuous communication to the company’s sales force.
