We have an excellent opportunity for a Services and engineer‑SRA to join our team in Arica, Chile .
The Services and engineer‑SRA will manage, control and supervise facilities requirements and supplies necessities for the Arica site, ensuring maintenance and operation of field infrastructure, buildings and warehouse; manage contractors and minor civil works; manage capital projects site requests from front‑end loading through detailed design & construction; follow up execution, return to operations, startup and project closeout. The candidate will collaborate with the Project Leader.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage services contracts for the facilities in site Arica, analyzing contract services to give an efficient baseline for procurement yearly contract process.
- Manage, control and communicate the development and execution of projects and minor civil works for the program’s requirements.
- Manage the preventative and corrective maintenance duties plan for the facilities program.
- Keep control of the quality services and work on time execution.
- Manage the services daily operations (field basic conditions and building).
- Keep control and establish metrics for the workload of all the subprogram under his responsibility.
- Manage the supplies and agrochemicals warehouse, keeping an accurate inventory control and reporting the existence online for the internal customer.
- Establish a digital system for controlling the critical stock and reorder of the supplies and agrochemicals of the field programs.
- Manage the inventory audits based on good practices and critical supplies, along with preparation of existence reports on a defined time.
- Generate the strategies to manage the products and inventory of all programs in the most efficient way.
- Manage and control resources for the execution of the program budget – ensuring efficient cost management and operational excellence in the area.
- Innovate and implement automation improvements in all operations.
- Lead standardization in operations procedures.
- Elaborate the business case, project charter and the scope of the capital projects.
- Develop a management of change process, for all the local capital projects.
- Lead the local project team to meet the business & project objectives and deliverables as outlined in the business case, authorization documents & project gate reviews.
- Give local support as a counterpart for technical inspection and contractors to the National project leader.
- Keep track of the correct implementation and execution of the capital projects.
- Impulse efficiency in capital projects cost, optimizing resources.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years experience, leading facilities operations.Minimum of 3 years experience, managing projects.University degree in Civil, Industrial, Electronic, Mechanical or Civil Engineering.Fluency in written and spoken English is desired.AutoCAD knowledge desired.Strong interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills.Advanced user of MS Office, Project, programs.Diplomacy and negotiation skills to manage conflict situations.Benefits
