Senior / Lead Developer Role Overview

The Senior / Lead Developer will play a hybrid role as both a hands‑on engineer and a client‑facing technical lead. This position combines deep technical execution with the ability to guide nearshore / offshore developers, contribute to early discovery discussions, and help shape solutions that are both functional and feasible within defined budgets. You’ll work closely with product and design teams to translate ideas into scalable, efficient, and maintainable systems—balancing technical rigor with practical implementation. This is an ideal role for someone who thrives in both code and conversation : someone who can explain technical trade‑offs clearly, answer client questions on the fly, and architect solutions that fit real‑world constraints.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

• Lead and mentor 1–2 distributed developers, ensuring consistency, quality, and delivery velocity.
• Establish and uphold architectural standards across front‑end and back‑end systems.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to translate business goals into structured, achievable technical plans.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and drive continuous improvement.
• Serve as the internal N8N subject‑matter expert, providing guidance on workflow automation design, security, and performance.
• Mentor developers in N8N implementation best practices, encouraging maintainable, reusable, and scalable automation solutions.
