Job Summary

In this role, you will be responsible for the mechanical equipment packages in a copper concentrator plant, with the ability to develop meetings with customers and sellers to determine the scope of work, technical and design definitions, and to prepare quantity and cost estimates for the mechanical aspects of the project. You will contribute to design review, development, modification and / or evaluation of mechanical components and processes and their interrelation with other disciplines. Your recommendations will solve technical problems and ensure that the mechanical requirements of the project are met.

Major Responsibilities

  • Experience in mining project engineering development (mandatory).
  • Knowledge of dry and wet area equipment used in mining industry processes (mandatory).
  • Field experience in the mining industry (valued).
  • Knowledge of design and calculation of material handling equipment in concentrator plants (desirable).
  • Knowledge of development and analysis of calculations for water networks and pulps (mandatory).
  • Knowledge of calculations for air networks, air conditioning, tanks and fire protection systems (desirable).
  • Apply technical knowledge to solve problems, complete tasks and provide guidance.
  • Work with professional autonomy, showing flexibility and teamwork.
  • Advanced intermediate level of English (will be valued).
  • Demonstrated skills in oral and written communication.

    • Education And Experience Requirements

    Requires degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering, and a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in the mining industry.
