Overview
Equifax is seeking a Technical Architect to significantly contribute to identifying best-fit architectural solutions for one or more projects. You will collaborate with talented teams to create and implement innovative, high-quality solutions focused on customers’ business needs. You are a problem solver who excels at designing solutions that amaze customers. As a Technical Architect at Equifax, you will design and plan technology solutions, and provide leadership and support to development teams. You will drive business value through technology and address technical issues and concerns.
What You Will Do
- Lead moderately large or complex projects and ensure the success of application rollouts.
- Determine and develop aligned, recommended architectural approaches and document current systems.
- Serve as technical architecture expert for software development and infrastructure teams.
- Assist project teams in estimating the architecture design effort and in developing, reviewing, and approving architecture designs.
- Advise project teams on the application of standards and methodology practices to the project.
- Communicate and validate architecture with Technology and Business executive stakeholders.
- Utilize a broad and deep understanding of technical concepts across multiple specialized fields to develop solutions to problems and critical design issues.
What Experience You Need
BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding, or equivalent job experience required.3+ years of experience developing and / or administering software in the public cloud, plus 5+ years overall relevant experience.Experience in monitoring infrastructure and application uptime to meet functional and performance objectives.Experience with languages such as Python, Ruby, Bash, Java, Go, Perl, JavaScript and / or Node.js.Demonstrable cross-functional knowledge with systems, storage, networking, security and databases.Experience with multiple OSS frameworks and microservice implementation styles.Experience with event-driven microservice implementation and message-driven applications (e.g., pub-sub, Kafka).Proficiency with continuous integration and continuous delivery tooling and practices.Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.Cloud Certification strongly preferred (AWS experience).What Could Set You Apart
Demonstrated ability to perform in our Success Profile skills, including :Application Development / Programming : experience with software design, programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript), databases and networking; knowledge of Event Driven Architecture, and functional / object-oriented programming.Cloud Services (AWS, GCP, Oracle) : leveraging cloud-native services while architecting products / platforms; knowledge of patterns and anti-patterns for Cloud Services.DevSecOps : strong understanding of security and DevOps principles; ability to design and implement solutions meeting security and compliance requirements without impacting development or deployment.Technical Communication / Presentation : strong written and verbal communication skills tailored to different audiences; collaboration to achieve results.Technology Advising / Consulting : ability to introduce ideas to improve design and implementation; strategic thinking; risk identification and mitigation; knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks, patterns, and best practices; experience in developing architecture documents for SDLC teams.Seniority level
