QA Test-Automation Engineer

Descripción del trabajoMinimum 4 years of web testing automation experience, with design, development, and execution of automated tests using Selenium WebDriver and Cucumber. Experience in automated test development and manual testing with evidence collection. Strong technical knowledge of web technologies and programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript. Experience in TDD (Test-Driven Development). Knowledge of SOLID principles and Domain-Driven Design (DDD). Ability to work in a team, good communication, and collaboration with development and QA teams. Experience working with Agile frameworks and practices. Ability to identify and resolve issues in automation scripts and Selenium / Cucumber configurations. Understanding of unit, integration, system, and acceptance testing methodologies. Familiarity with test management tools such as Jira, HP ALM, Quality Center, Azure Test Plans, among others. Overview
QA Test-Automation Engineer at Imagemaker – Location : Chile. The role involves establishing test plans, designing tests, and automating them using Selenium WebDriver and Cucumber, in collaboration with the development and QA teams to ensure product quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and design exhaustive tests based on user requirements and use cases.
- Identify critical test scenarios and design tests to cover them.
- Automate tests using Selenium WebDriver (required) and Cucumber (preferred).
- Create and maintain automation scripts and test frameworks.
- Identify and fix issues in automation scripts and in Selenium WebDriver and Cucumber configurations.
- Collaborate with developers and QA to ensure efficient and effective test execution.
- Execute manual tests and capture evidence.
