Senior IP Network Engineer

On Behalf of the world-famous ICT Company Huawei Technologies, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IP Network Engineer to join our team in Chile. This role is critical for designing, implementing, and optimizing the IP backbone and core network infrastructure for key Telecom Operators (CSPs) in the region.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and validate robust, scalable, and high-availability IP / MPLS core and aggregation networks for carrier customers.
• Develop detailed Low-Level Design (LLD) and High-Level Design (HLD) documents for IP / MPLS projects, including BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS LDP, RSVP-TE, and Segment Routing.
• Lead the technical strategy for network evolution, including migration plans from legacy infrastructures to modern, software-defined architectures.
• Lead the implementation, configuration, and integration of Huawei's carrier-grade routers and switches (such as the NetEngine series) into customer networks.
• Act as the primary technical lead for complex network rollout projects and network function virtualization (NFV) initiatives, ensuring on-time and high-quality delivery.
• Perform network upgrades and migrations with minimal impact to customer services.
