Director of Pharmacy and Medicines

NHS Fife is seeking a visionary and strategic leader to join our forward‑thinking, high‑performing organisation as the Director of Pharmacy and Medicines. Responsibilities

• Leading an extensive programme of service change to ensure effective and efficient delivery of all pharmaceutical care and prescribing support services.
• Providing leadership to ensure safe, effective, and cost‑effective use of medicines in NHS Fife.
• Driving transformation and improvement initiatives within the Pharmacy and Medicines Directorate.
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with statutory and governance frameworks.
• Acting as the Controlled Drugs Accountable Officer for the safe management and use of controlled drugs.

A requirement of this post is to become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme prior to appointment.
