O&M Manager – BESS / Solar PV

On behalf of ICT company Huawei Technologies, we are looking for: O&M Manager – BESS / Solar PV

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate Operations & Maintenance (O&M) activities for BESS and Solar PV plants, ensuring optimal system performance and availability.
• Monitor plant performance, KPIs, and SLAs, implementing corrective and preventive actions when needed.
• Manage and oversee Service Request (SR) tickets, ensuring timely resolution aligned with customer requirements.
• Supervise on-site O&M activities including inspections, preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and system optimization.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient plant operation in compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.
• Conduct regular site audits and performance assessments for BESS and Solar PV installations.
• Prepare and review O&M reports, incident reports, performance analysis, and service documentation.
• Diagnose and resolve system malfunctions, acting as the main technical escalation point during operations.
• Ensure compliance with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards and local regulations.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring high service quality and long-term satisfaction.

Work Experience and Knowledge

• English proficiency: Intermediate–Advanced (mandatory).
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanics, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in O&M of power plants, renewable energy, or similar roles.
• Solid knowledge of BESS and/or Solar PV systems, especially in operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Experience monitoring plant performance and managing SLAs/KPIs.
• Strong project management and time management skills.
• Experience working directly with clients and managing service expectations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project and other project management tools is a plus.
