The Role Financial Controller is responsible for overseeing the company's financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and providing strategic financial insights to support executive decision-making. The adecuado candidate will have a strong background in accounting, financial planning, and internal controls, with the ability to manage a small finance team and implement best practices for a scaling organization. Location : Remote, must be available 9am - 5pm EST What You'll Do Financial Management & Reporting Manage financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness in accordance with GAAP and regulatory requirements. Oversee all accounting functions including AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger maintenance. Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements. Manage cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis. Strategic Planning & Analysis Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership for strategic decision-making. Support the development of financial models for business planning and forecasting. Conduct profitability analyses for different service lines and business units. Internal Controls & Compliance Develop and maintain strong internal control procedures. Coordinate annual audits with external auditors. Monitor and ensure compliance with tax laws, corporate governance, and financial regulations. Team Leadership & Collaboration Lead and mentor a small finance team, ensuring professional growth and high performance. Collaborate with department heads to develop budgets and cost control measures. Partner with operations and legal teams to ensure accurate billing and case-related financial reporting.
