Role Summary

Engineering Manager – App Stores. You will lead a team that develops Python and Golang micro‑services that power the worldwide Snap Store and Charmhub.io marketplaces. Your focus will be on building a highly scalable SaaS product, ensuring robust code quality, and fostering a culture of clean APIs, automated testing, and agile delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Python and Golang micro‑services that drive the Snap Store and Charmhub.io marketplaces.
• Run an effective engineering team, nurture growth for individual engineers, and maintain focus, productivity, and quality across the team.
• Review code, set technical direction, and enforce high standards for reliability and security.
• Collaborate with Canonical’s world‑class security team to deliver secure capabilities at scale.
• Coordinate release engineering, CI / CD pipelines, and global software distribution processes.
