Job DescriptionHatch is seeking a Site Project Controls Manager to join their Project Delivery Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating project control resources, managing and mentoring the project controls team, and ensuring that staff understands what is expected of them and has the necessary skills to execute the requirements.Key Responsibilities : Coordinate project control resources and manage the project controls teamEnsure staff understands what is expected of them and has the necessary skills to execute the requirementsIdentification training and development requirements for staff and ensure skills development takes placeSafety : Strong personal commitment to safetyPersonal responsibility for safety incident reportingBehavioral-based safety ethos to be embracedPersonal responsibility for stopping any unsafe behavior as and when it occurs, and thereafter reporting the safety incident so that corrective action may be obtainedFamiliarization with Hatch safety processes, protocols and proceduresSet-up Planning and Feasibility Study (FEL3) data verification : Review FEL3 report, The Prime contract (accepted proposal), the Project schedule (levels 1,2 and3) and the FEL3 tollgate guidelinesVerify set-up requirements and request missing information from Project ManagerSelect standard project procedures and coordinate modifications / additions with Regional / Integral Practice Lead and confirm project procedures listPrepare set-up plan, assign project controls staff, conduct project controls kick-off meeting and commence set-upConfirm progress measurement and earned value methodology and initiate progress reportingRequirements : 5 years relevant post graduate experience in managerial position and a minimum of 15 years' experience in a project environment with detailed knowledge of Estimating, Cost Control, Planning, and Quantity SurveyingExperience in high valued, multi-discipline EPCM environment projects from inception to close outMust be able and willing to work in remote locations on rotationWhat We Offer : Flexible work environmentLong term career developmentThink globally, work locallyHatch is an Equal Opportunity Employer that considers applicants without regard to age, race, color, national origin, citizenship, religion, creed, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, disability, veteran, or any other protected status.
