Senior Accountant

As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing your own book of clients, managing a team of junior bookkeepers, and delivering exceptional client services.

What You’ll Do:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients.
• Manage weekly and monthly client communications.
• Supervise 1–3 bookkeepers, reviewing their work for accuracy and timeliness.
• Perform and review month-end close, general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Reconcile tax returns to books and records.
• Set up and manage cloud-based accounting systems and integrations.
• Identify and recommend process or technology improvements.
• Ensure all deliverables are completed on time and within budget.

Requirements

• Fluent English or C1 equivalent is required.
• 3–5 years of experience managing or supervising bookkeepers or staff accountants.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Xero.
• Strong understanding of accrual-basis and GAAP accounting.
• Experience with cloud-based accounting systems.
• Preferred: exposure to public accounting, consulting, eCommerce, technology, or real estate industries.

• Compensation: $4000-$4500 USD/month + variable compensation eligibility after 6 months
