Project Accountant - Studies

Job Summary

This position will perform general accounting activities for various studies in Latin America. The position requires the ability to maintain confidentiality with a strong ethical behavior in workplace practices, a customer-service orientation with a demonstrated professional demeanor and communication style, flexibility, and commitment to meeting deadlines. The position will be based in Santiago, Chile and will report to the Project Accounting Supervisor for Studies.

"This position is designated as part-time telework per our global telework policy and may require at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the assigned office or project. Weekly in-person schedules will be determined by the individual and their supervisor, in consultation with functional or project leadership".

Major Responsibilities

• Monitoring invoice approvals and hold report for both agency and non-agency accounts payables.
• Reviewing expense reports and time cards for accuracy.
• Preparing EDPs and legal invoices for client billing.
• Assisting with additional accounting activities as needed.

Education and Experience Requirements

Requires a bachelor's degree with 1-2 years of experience or 5-6 years of relevant work experience.
