Your mission :
As a PLC & SCADA Engineer, you will play a key role in the automation and monitoring of large-scale photovoltaic power plants across the Iberoamerican market. You'll develop and implement intelligent control systems and work at the intersection of software, hardware, and renewable energy.
Your key responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain PLC programs using Structured Text (ST), primarily on the Codesys platform (WAGO PLCs)
- Design and implement HMI interfaces and control logic
- Configure hardware components including I / O modules and communication interfaces
- Test and debug PLC programs and automation systems
- Perform remote and on-site commissioning of monitoring and control systems for utility-scale PV plants, primarily in the Iberian region
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement automation solutions
- Create and maintain documentation such as schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
Your profile :
Degree in Engineering or a technical background related to industrial or energy automationProven experience in PLC programming and HMI / SCADA development (WAGO experience is a plus)Strong knowledge of Structured Text (ST)Familiarity with industrial protocols (e.g., Modbus, IEC101 / 102 / 104)Experience with RTUs, plant automation, power control, and SCADA functionalitiesKnowledge of VBA scriptingSolid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP / IP, subnetting, routing / switching)Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and firewall configuration (e.g., FortiGate, Palo Alto)Ability to work both independently and as part of a teamStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsFluency in English and Spanish (spoken and written)Interested?
