We are looking for someone to join our team of professionals that supports the Index Strategy team of a top global investment bank, with a special focus on Options, Fixed Income and Commodities. The ideal candidate will integrate a team in Chile that works collaboratively with our client across its locations including UK, US and India.

About Risk and Quant Solutions (RQS)

Risk and Quant is one of the fastest growing practices at Evalueserve. As an RQS team member, you will address some of the world’s largest financial needs with technology proven solutions. You would solve these banking challenges and improve decision making with award winning solutions.

What you will be doing at Evalueserve

  • Development and maintenance of the platform for index production.
  • Programming : developing of strategies using rule books.
  • Taking care of day-to-day issues associated with maintenance and delivery of indices to clients.
  • Delivery of monthly performance reports.
  • Performing data quality checks to ensure the quality of input for index calculation.
  • Collaboration with development teams to improve the efficiency and accuracy of index calculations.
  • Implementation of continuous improvements in the processes and tools used for index production.

What we’re looking for

  • Professional degree in IT, preferably engineering (IT or Computer Science) with 2-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong Python knowledge focused on data management (OOP mandatory).
  • Strong command of Excel and data manipulation.
  • Knowledge of Capital markets Asset Classes, ideally in Options / Fixed Income / Commodities.
  • Ability to own tasks and projects, maintaining stakeholders in the loop.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to rapid changes.
  • Meticulous, with strong attention to detail.
  • Good written and oral communication skills in English.
