Responsibilities

• Implementation and Maintenance: Deploy, configure and manage security infrastructure solutions (next generation firewalls, IPS, web proxy, MFA, IAM).
• Monitoring and Optimization: Supervise performance, adjust configuration, apply security patches and optimize resource usage to ensure secure operations.
• Incident Management: Participate in security incident response with SOC teams to contain threats, perform basic forensic analysis and execute recovery plans.
• Compliance and Documentation: Ensure the infrastructure complies with security standards (ISO 27001, NIST, PCI‑DSS), keep technical documentation updated and collaborate with internal and external audits.

Qualifications and Knowledge

1. Education: Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering or related (mandatory unless proven experience >6 years).
2. Experience: Minimum 4 years in technical infrastructure or security system administration; at least 4 years in roles managing perimeter security solutions.
3. Continuous security certifications (Security+, CCNA Security, NSE4, PCNSE) or equivalent.
4. Desirable regulated environment experience or regulatory compliance requirements.
5. Operating systems: Linux and Windows Server with hardening and security management focus.
6. Platform administration: firewalls, IPS/IDS, WAF, proxies.
7. Cryptography: VPN, PKI and digital certificate management.
8. Cloud security: AWS, Azure, GCP.
9. Vendor certifications: Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point.
