We have just raised a Series A funding round to double our fleet size in London, invest in our digital marketing proprietary tech, and start international expansion plans.
Location & Reporting
Based in Santiago de Chile (candidate must be based here). The role reports to the team in Chile and the UK. Spanish and English fluency is mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Owning the design and user experience of the Forest mobile app, the product riders interact with every day.
- Responsible for evolving our design system.
- Running user interviews or remote tests in Maze to validate new feature ideas.
- Auditing and improving design system components to ensure visual consistency and accessibility.
- Collaborating with Product Managers to define user journeys and refine problem statements.
- Using Amplitude or Tableau dashboards to identify friction points in the user flow and propose data‑informed design improvements.
- Creating interactive prototypes in Figma and iterating quickly based on feedback from users and internal teams.
- Partnering with engineers to ensure final builds meet design intent and quality standards.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a Product Designer, UX / UI Designer, or equivalent role, ideally in mobile app or eCommerce environments.Expertise in Figma and familiarity with tools like Maze or similar for user research.Strong understanding of mobile design patterns, accessibility, and responsive design.Comfortable analysing product data using Amplitude or similar tools to identify opportunities.Fluent in English, both written and spoken, and collaborative daily with international teams.Demonstrated ability to manage and evolve design systems.Empathy for users and passion for creating experiences that feel simple, human, and joyful.Bonus
Experience in mobility, transportation, or subscription‑based products.Familiarity with micro‑interactions, motion design, or animation principles.Understanding of design‑to‑code workflows and collaboration with cross‑functional teams in agile environments.Benefits
