We are seeking an experienced and dedicated UX Generalist to shape the future of Tetris Mobile. Do you have the skills to create captivating gameplay experiences that will delight and engage players? As a UX Generalist at PLAYSTUDIOS, you will play a crucial role in defining how players interact with our Tetris product now and in the future. Our collaborative team structure ensures that everyone has a significant impact, giving you a strong voice in the design, development, and delivery of our games.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work with other designers to establish clear design documentation, including system specifications, priorities, and design goals.
  • Assist in designing and implementing game mechanics and features, often under the guidance of Product Owners.
  • Create and maintain design documents and wireframes.
  • Communicate design ideas to stakeholders and the team.
  • Work closely with artists, programmers, and team members to bring designs to life.
  • Observe game metrics and player behavior to identify trends and make data-driven design improvements.
  • Design and analyze surveys and / or other research methods to understand user needs and behaviors.
  • Develop detailed, interactive prototypes to showcase design ideas and solutions.
  • Ensure designs are user-friendly and accessible to all users, including those with disabilities.
  • Develop and maintain a consistent design system across features.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in UX design, preferably in the mobile gaming or tech industry.
  • Top-tier User Experience, Testing, Research, and Information Architecture skills.
  • Proficiency in Figma or similar designing, wireframing, and prototyping software.
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Understanding interaction design fundamentals and UI design best practices (for collaboration with UI designers).
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, FTUX, usability, and accessibility standards.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify problems and develop creative solutions.
