Your Impact
As a Data Scientist at QuantumBlack in Brazil, you will partner with some of the world’s leading organizations to tackle their most critical challenges using data. From data owners and end users to C-level executives, you will work closely with clients to understand their needs and design impactful analytics solutions that drive performance.
You will be a key contributor in cross-functional problem-solving sessions, translating complex business questions into analytical problems and building models that address them—ensuring those models are evaluated with relevant, actionable metrics.
You will help shape the development of our internal Data Science Toolbox, writing highly optimized code and supporting the delivery of innovative, scalable solutions.

Your qualifications and skills
University degree with a strong academic record; Master’s in computer science, applied statistics, mathematics, artificial intelligence, or related field preferred2+ years of experience applying machine learning and data mining techniques to large, real-world datasetsStrong background in computer science, engineering, statistics, mathematics, physics, or similarAbility to lead and drive model development independently, balancing quality and deadlinesProven track record in prototyping and applying advanced analytical and statistical methodsProficiency in Python and at least one additional language (e.g., R, Scala, SQL)Experience working with relational databases (SQL) and large datasetsExperience in the real world application of machine learning methods and algorithmsAbility to communicate ideas most effectively - both verbally and in writing - in English and SpanishPlease submit your CV in English.
